The Regional History Museum – Kyustendil presented its experience in implementing international projects in the field of cultural heritage and museum activities on the International Conference about the United Europe and Its Cultural Heritage – the European Museum, which took place on 18th of June 2012 at the National Archeological Museum in Sofia under the patronage and with the support of H.E. Mrs. Judith Lang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary to Sofia, with the support of H.E. Leszek Hensley, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Sofia, with the support of Dr. Todor Chobanov, Deputy Mayor of Sofia Municipality and Mrs. Violeta Stanicic, Head of the Information Bureau of the European Parliament in Bulgaria.

During the presentation called “European Programmes for Mutual Knowing about Museums and Cultural Heritage within the European Culture Space” the Museum promoted the activities and the results of both the F-MU.S.EU.M. and the Mu.Com Projects financed after the Life Long Learning Programme, Leonardo da Vinci, whose implementation it has taken part in as a partner of Romanian, Italian and British universities, museums and non-government organizations.
